<3 hello there.
Standards For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. (Romans 3:23 NLT) Gods standards are so high that it feels as though you can’t live up to them. But the only thing that’s blocking us from God’s standards are ourselves and sin. So many people have standards for us. Parents expect us to get good grades and friends expect us to trust them…etc. People just expect. I think that if we just expect people to live up to our standards, we will find ourselves being let down many times. What is more important anyways,  God’s standards or the standards of this world? God’s moral standards for sure. We may be able to live up to the standards of this world but if you think about it, they are really low. There are higher standards in life to meet. Standards that will lead you down the righteous path and end in eternal life. God’s standards. We may not be able to easily live up to them due to the temptations and pressure from this world, but we can most definitely aim for them in our lives.

Anger is Pointless. Anger is pointless. It adds nothing good or beneficial to our lives. It leads to destruction of relationships. It leads to bitterness and hatred within our hearts. Anger tears us apart and targets us at our most vulnerable state. When we are jealous. When we don’t feel fulfilled. When we feel like the life we are living, isn’t what we want it to be. We let anger consume our thoughts and we start to believe the lies in our heads. That voice that says, “You’ll never be good enough,” and “nobody understands me.” Anger is pointless. We’ll allow anger to cloud our judgement and say and do things that we’ll soon regret. We’ll be so angry that we just want to harm things. We will harm ourselves or harm others, hoping to relieve the pain. When we stop and think, “Why am I angry?” we realize all that we have done and we cry. We cry because we know that we have made something much worse than it really is and that something will take twice the amount of time to fix. All because of this one thing that exists in our lives, we’ll be changed. Anger is pointless. “And don’t sin by letting anger control you. Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the devil.” (Ephesians 4:26 -27 NLT)
